Sorry if I missed this somewhere... But the boat as drawn is 5.70m long.
Just curious, why is it called Class Globe 5.80 ?

You will find it slowly creeps up with Glass/filler and as the rudder fittings and stem fitting are permanent for shipping we decided that the design spec should not exceed 5.80 to make it fit in the container...so yes timber design length is 5.70 but measure your finished boat with fittings and you will see what happens  ...so LOA is??? not longer than 5.80.. |
