The bunk risers are part of the stucture and cannot be changed and must be watertight to stop free surface water flow from side to side. The lids do NOT need to be watetight. You can modify the Galley and Chart area and decide on you own Companionway hatch arrangement, but it needs to be watertight and your watertight Bulkheads and W/T door MUST seal shut and be airtight, or you will not pass your Class Registration, as this is a criticle safety issue. Happy building.

Heads, shoulders knees and toes..... nah but seriously, any preferred place to put a head in this wee tub? forward of the watertight bulkhead? with water tight access hatch? would that be allowed for MGR? cant imagine any ablutions will be particularly comfortable down below but asking the question anyway.

Yes Absolutley...you can easily fit a marine toilet in the forwad cabin..YES it is a cabin and TREKKA will have it set up as a double bed as well...small but that is fine...I am also fitting a sink and water pump in the Galley with two stoves...a full Gymbal JET BOIL for ocean passages but a single buner flat top for frying eggs and actually cooking bread in a dutch oven when calmer.... she will be a cool Mico cruiser!! I am happy to use a toilet fo a bucket ...my luxuray is toilet paper after the Bounty Boat trip with neither bucket nor Paper !!! hahaha Life hey!...good luck! You can make a full watetight door for easier access....but I will use a 50 x 50 deck hatch fitted sideways as a door...In reasonable weather I will dump off the side by shouds hanging on....in bad weather a Bucket with a little water in it first, in the cockpit works fine....
