Hey everyone, for those that have finished boats, did you epoxy the daggerboard supports in place on the transom or just bed them with something like Sika Flex 291? Looks like Jack Johnson had his off to get it into the shipping container? Thanks for all of your insight on all my questions! Josh Hull #157

Same as Renaud, bolted on with 3M 4200. All good

Thanks Dan! I got the holes drilled and mocked them up last weekend and I was thinking hmm… this adds like 8” to the overall length I don’t think I should make em permanent.

Hi Josh, this is my method of attaching the daggerboard mounts to the transom. I will bolt it and seal with butyl tape / SikaFlex. I predrilled the bolt holes a little larger and then filled them with epoxy to protect the wooden frame construction from water penetration.
