Presently fitting stringers and a little confused about exactly how the stem is to be shaped to accommodate stringers. Blogs seem to be a little shy about explicit photos of this. I have glued/screwed a small supporting panel on the aft face of the CNC cut stem so that when the slots for stringers are enlarged to accommodate the angled stringers, the stem doesn’t crack or break when it is asked to accept the load/s. Have other builders had any worries or solutions here?
