Hi Builders, I am half way through my frames and wondering if I should be epoxy filleting all the joints between plywood and timber? Some help and guidance on this area would be great. It is my first build! This is how I am dealing with the area at this stage.

Hello! I know I am in the minority of builders here with this opinion, but I believe it to to absolutely essential to the longevity of the plywood structure that ALL end grain plywood exposed on the interior of the boat be properly sealed. You can either spend the time adding multiple(4-5 coats) of epoxy resin to seal the end grain, or you can 'cap' the end grain with either a cove or fillet, or with a wooden wedge as I have done. Products referred to as 'Penetrating Epoxy' such as Internationals Everdure or relying on paints do not count as proper or effective sealing strategies. Check out this video on my YouTube channel for an example of how I am dealing with the end grain of gussets youtu.be/JfUvjMHYUMUCheers.
