Loved following the first Transat and well done to everyone involved!
I love the boat as it is but being based in Australia I am unrealistically going to join other global events, but would love the opportunity to put it on a trailer easily and take it around Australia to different areas and racing events.
Wondering how many others are interested in lift keel version to make the 5.80 a very capable trailer sailer.
Perhaps start a wee lift keel racing club down under?
Spoken to Andrew Denman in Tasmania and he has said he's had a few similar inquiries.
Any thoughts?

Hi...the concept of the 5.80 is well defined and a lift keel version would not be Class approved. We have no plans to make a lift keel version at this time...we may in the future but there are many lift keel boats available to build from various designers so good luck.

Thanks for reply Don and congrats again on Transat and winning Snrs Div 😊.
Maybe I'll upgrade to a proper 5.80 one day, certainly proved itself to be very capable!
Your volunteer team did a great job on social media, thoroughly enjoyed all the content.
Good luck with your next event and adventures!
