I haven't purchased plans, just taking an initial look. In the videos I've watched, 10 mm plywood, supposedly specified in plans, is replaced with 9 mm + FG cloth. A local source of Okoume has 4, 6, and 9 mm panels. Ignoring the cost comparison between 9 + glass vs 6 + 4 panels, would this be allowed by the class rules?

Hi...4 = 6 is a bit risky...cause if it was done right it would theoretically be fine...but any bad laminating etc or gluing together and you will lose out so as we cannot control the laminating of the two sheets together we would not approve it. using 9mm for hull and deck has already been approved so that is your option and adjust your glass epoxy levels as per the schedule dependant on type of ply also....good luck!
