Hello everybody
Spring is slowly approaching and there has been no news about the Trekka for three months
Could we get information about what exactly is the problem in poland? After the pictures, is it done?
Or can we help with something?
Best regards
Severin

Let me guess, the answer will be like always: Wait for next week! We will have big news.... Sorry, I´m just watching this projekt, big respekt to all builders, who posted all the progress, but I´m slowly concerned about the communication of the organisation. Greetings from Hamburg

It will all come good, can't avoid delays with Covid lockdowns, shows people are respecting the laws of the land and staying home, amazing that as much progress is being made. Stay safe.

I agree Joe. All I can do right now is carry on building. My personal deadline for a finished hull is early May and masts and sails can be fitted in a few days.

Looking at Poland CV numbers/news in recent days it looks like there could be a potential for more delays on the horizon yet. Hopefully things can settle down soon.
I'm not looking at entering the transat this year but like many would like to know when the packages will be ready for order.
All the best team.

hahahah You guys%^&*&^%$!!!! LOL...when your building boats...LOL...anything can happen...I have a friend building for me in Poland...and he has started another 5.80 and is into another adventure project...so that's life and Yes I wanted it finished in DEC. 2020 at the latest, but has not worked out....we are all in this together and building boats is a challenge as you know or will find out..and remember I am a volunteer like everyone else....cause we, like you, are passionate about the idea woop woop...so I am smiling...yes I am the leader and instigator of the Class Globe 5.80.....lol...but nothing should be slowing anyone from building a 5.80 at the moment...so good luck...as soon as I get TREKKA I will shout about it....cause Like you I want to go sailing...I have not been getting any pictures and yes things are slow in Poland, but everything good is worth waiting for ....Personally I have been busy and not even here on the forum for a few weeks...My other life keeps me VERY busy and pays the bills lol...so I am just focused on the Globe Transat and making sure builders are doing it right...Jane too ..all the best ..

I have to say, I have been seriously considering joining the project. I have gathered all my information, as well as the time allocation on how I can implement the project. Of course, I also followed the forum. I was also a bit irritated about the different approaches of the boat builders and of course that always had to wait a very long time until got feedback/information from the management. I've been struggling with whether to write this post for the last two weeks. But the last post showed me, what kind of social competence the management has towards its community. I am very sorry for such a mindset of the leadership towards their own community, but I don't want to support such a thing nor be a part of it. I wish everyone else good luck, may they build the boat they always wanted.

If you want to leave the party, then just leave, but there's no need to piss on the floor.
